The Democratic Party is without a doubt the party of robbery-centric government. The least robbery-centric Democrat out there is firmly devoted to democratic socialism. And these milktoast Democrats are few in number. The vast majority of Democrats today are either devoted to fascism with bigotry or communism with bigotry. In other words, your typical Democrat today fully embraces paycheck serfdom (i.e., the government owns your paycheck, not you), equity-based competition (i.e., the “historically marginalized” will always be guaranteed a certain percentage of the wins), and anti-white, anti-male Jim Crow (i.e., no equal-protection-of-the-law for morally inferior whites and men).

The only real point of contention between totalitarian Democrats is who should own the means of production. Fascist-with-bigotry Democrats think state ownership of the means of production is unnecessary. Why go through the hassle of owning and running every business in the land when you can sit back and tax the crap out of business profits and supervise the crap out of company CEOs? You get the same control using the administrative state, and you still have a ready foil―those greedy capitalists—to distract the great unwashed whenever they get uppity and begin to question the quality of their lives. Communist-with-bigotry Democrats, on the other hand, want the hassle of owning and running every business in the land.

Now let’s consider the Republican Party.

When I was a young man, I was very naive regarding the Republican Party. Nah, scratch that previous sentence. I wasn’t naive regarding the Republican Party. I was a complete butthead regarding the Republican Party. I actually believed the Republicans were the good guys and its leadership was fiercely devoted to the cause of liberty.

But then I got to see the Republican Party up close. For 21 years I worked for a rinky-dink highway department that was run by a Republican-dominated municipality. And I saw little evidence that Republicans cared about liberty or being great stewards of taxpayer dollars. In fact, I saw much evidence to the contrary. The needs of the taxpayers were always a distant second to the needs of the Republican Party. And this contempt for the taxpayer was best exemplified by the relentless monetization of decision-making I witnessed. Any decision that could be sold was sold. Promotions, bonuses, and plum assignments were routinely awarded, not based on merit, but on who donated the most to the Republican Party. Needless to say, this business model didn’t bode well for the taxpayers. It engendered a lot of resentment, sloth, and feigned incompetence amongst the rank and file workers. The taxpayers thus ended up paying a lot of money for some pretty crummy service.

When it comes to advancing the cause of liberty and respecting the taxpayers, I firmly believe the Republican Party “ain’t worth a warm bucket of spit.” They did nothing to stop the Left from turning public education into an indoctrination mill that glorifies robbery-centric government and rationalizes anti-white, anti-male bigotry. They did nothing to stop the Left from weaponizing immigration and flooding the country with future voters who are far more likely to vote for socialism (i.e., freedom from responsibility) than for liberty (i.e., freedom from authority). And they’re doing nothing now to stop Big Tech and Big Media from decreeing there is only one true narrative, and that one true narrative is the narrative that equates big, micromanage-everything government with sunshine and lollipops and small, keep-the-peace government with darkness and toadstool sandwiches.

Both the Democrats and the Republicans are the enemy of liberty. They all believe that robbery-centric government is morally just, and they all believe that sacrificing your wallet and rights to reward their respective donor classes with welfare and privilege is necessary “for the greater good.”

  1. The Republicans did everything they could to bring attention to what the Biden Administration was doing with our southern boarder, so don’t put our 10,000,000+ illegal immigrants who will be voting democrat in the next election on the republicans. True the republicans have a lot of short falls but is mass invasion is on Biden or who ever was running the white house.

  2. Let;s put the blame where it really is. It is on us voters. We keep reelecting the same low skill, achievement and financial solvent individuals who are many times mere activists.. Gvt. service was a rite of passage for those wanting to serve for a short term for the good of the country, knowing they would take a short term hit to their compensation. Now, individuals see it as a path to corruption, graft and greed to loot the treasury for their benefit.

When we ignore our politics for a moment, this is what happens.
Enjoyed the true and sweet picture of the uni party in a touching moment celebrating their mutual achievements.

    1. Some of us have been involved and voted for the best candidate only to have them switch once elected. Not sure I’m seeing a way out of this!

      1. The only way out is to move forward. We can’t just give up, cede defeat and surrender. Failure is not an option.
Being more intentional with our voices is a start. Your money is your big voice. The opposition is indeed a mile wide but only an inch deep. Clapping seals are herd animals. Change is incremental. Be that change which goes both ways.

    2. Your comment is a perfect addendum to my post. Our politicians ain’t shit because we ain’t shit. We don’t care about liberty, so we don’t study it, and we certainly don’t vote for it. We’re all petty tyrants. We’re all for the government handing out welfare and privilege as long as welfare and privilege is being handed out to us and not the other guy. Thanks for stopping by, my friend. Peace.
