The bison build has progressed, but the pace has been much slower than I expected. Ninety degree days just aren’t conducive to long welding sessions. And to make matters worse, I wrenched my neck and left shoulder a couple of weeks ago moving the bison over to the welding area.
No one ever said building a scrap-metal bison was going to be easy.
Anyway, I’m happy to report that the scaffolding/skeleton of Becky Sue’s back legs is done, and those legs have been bolted to the bison cart. Check it out.
And here’s a comparison of Becky Sue’s back legs and butt to a real bison’s back legs and butt. Not a perfect match, of course. But not bad for a novice welder and sculptor.
Okay, groovy freedomist, that’s all I got. Hope you have a glorious weekend. Peace.
Wow this is amazing, Do you have photos of the finished sculpture?
You’re doing a great job!
The way I see it, you’re wearing her down and creating a masterpiece. Can’t wait to see more.
That girl is beating you up. Not the first time she’s attacked you. Beware The Beast! She’s looking great!
