Slow Progress on the Bison Build

Crazy week. Every day Mrs. Groovy and I either had a dentist appointment or a social engagement. Throw in our daily three-mile constitutional and cleaning chores and there was little time to wrestle with Becky Sue.

But I did manage to spend at least half an hour every day with Becky Sue. My goal was simple. Cut a minimum of five sections of rebar and attach those sections to my beloved bison-whale. And here are the results. The rebar scaffolding around Becky Sue’s head is now around 50 percent complete.

Okay, groovy freedomist, that’s all I got. Not a major update, but an update nonetheless. Hope you have a great weekend. Peace.

  1. Either that’s a tiny ladder or the bison is huge! How strong does the wind blow were you are…hope it’s going to be well anchored!

LOL! Nice observation. Nope, the ladder is normal-sized. The bison is huge. Nine feet long by six feet high. And, yes, I’m already thinking about the base. The last thing I need to see is a gigantic metal bison rolling down the street. I’m leaning toward a concrete base with bolts. We’ll see.
