It took me two years, but Billy Bob is finally done. Now I just have to get this clanking monstrosity attached to my front lawn.

Here are some pictures showing the progression of my bison build.

  1. A man with so many talents AND those luscious velvety pipes is unfair to the rest of us. Billy Bob turned out GREAT, Mr G.

    1. Hi, Sumanth. Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for your lovely comment. I really appreciate it. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. Cheers.

P.S. I’m reading War and Peace, and I had no idea how many Francophiles were in the Russian aristocracy. I also understand now why I had a history professor in college who routinely quipped that English is the language and business and French is the language of diplomacy.

  2. did you keep a running costs of this project? I would imagine the materials were pretty costly! Nice job.

    1. Great question. I’ll put the numbers together for a future post (perhaps by the end of May). Just off the top of my head, I’m thinking around $2,000 in metal and welding supplies. How many man-hours? At two hours a day for 200 days per year, we’re talking around 800 hours. But we’ll know for sure shortly. Thanks for stopping by, my friend. Cheers.

      1. 🙂 Trying to hang in there, just like everyone else.
Hoping you’all are doing great, and well.
Hope also to get down at some point, will advise.
        Yours always,
        Sammy

    1. Thank you, sir. Now I just got to pray that the neighborhood youth in rural North Carolina can appreciate fine art and don’t view Billy Bob as a fitting target for firearm practice. It’s going to be a very interesting social experiment.
